thats sad. so does one invent a new fantasy? because if one Does then they get into this horrid trap of trying to maintain a satisfying fantasy level, but are unable to do so because of the heightening immunity- you know- like drugs, u need more and more and more. oR alternatively, perhaps one shoould refrain from fantasies and live in horrid horrid horrid reality. both options suck. suck the hope and happiness out of life. or perhaps the heartbreak is what accentuates the fantasy's sweetness-- like all that business about bittersweetness- how can you appreciate sweeetness, without the bitternes.
